Requirements for Little Miss & Little Mister Great Pocomoke Fair 2008

To be eligible to participate in the Little Miss & Mr. Great Pocomoke
Fair contest, participants must be at least 5 years old but not older
than 7 years of age on the day of the contest, and they must reside in
either Worcester, Somerset, Wicomico or Accomack County.

Contest participants will be asked to sing a child's song or recite a
child's poem or nursery rhyme as their talent for the contest. No
props, stuffed animals, flags, musical instruments, recorded music, etc.
shall be used during the contest. Participants will be interviewed
briefly by the contest MC on stage prior to performing their talent.

The newly crowned Little Miss & Mr. Great Pocomoke Fair must be
available to ride in the Pocomoke Christmas Parade held the first Monday
evening after Thanksgiving and will be asked to crown the Little Miss &
Mr. Great Pocomoke Fair at next year's competition. Additionally, the
Little Miss & Mr. Great Pocomoke Fair may also be asked to participate
in other fairground sponsored events throughout the year.

A registration form for the contest must be completed and received at
least 5 days prior to the event date. The Little Miss & Mr. Great
Pocomoke Fair contest is held the first night of the fair at 6PM. This
year's event will be held on August 21, 2008. Registration forms must
be received on or before August 16, 2008 for eligibility in the contest.

Prizes, Trophies, & Awards

All participants in the contest will receive a trophy and a "goody" bag
filled with toys, restaurant certificates, books, candy, etc.
Additionally, the chosen Little Miss & Mr. Great Pocomoke Fair will also
receive a crown, hooded robe, embroidered sash, a free sitting and 8x10
portrait from Robert Huey Photography, a $50 savings bond and free amusement rides during each evening of the fair.
