From the Fair President …

On behalf of the Fair Committee, welcome to the 2011 Great Pocomoke Fair. The Committee has again worked hard to plan displays and events and attract vendors for the entire family to enjoy. Harness Racing, Indoor exhibits, Antique tractor pulling, the Horse show and Fireworks are again part of the 2011 program. Work is underway to bring a Gospel Concert/Contest to the Fair. As always, Kids Activities are a big part of the Fair and the schedule again includes wristband night for the rides, the Little Miss and Mister Pageant, dance performances, the greased pig contest, and Kute Kids.

The Fair Committee appreciates the support of the community through purchase of advertisements and other donations as well as volunteering at our various events. We continue to look for volunteers and for ways to make the Fair and all our events better. We are open to suggestions. If you would like to help, please call 443-614-3044 or leave a message at 410-632-3998.

  Sincerely,

Alice Jean Ennis, VP; Harriet Ennis, Secretary; Gloria Smith, Treasurer
